Job description

To strengthen our Digital & Experience department, we are looking for a Data Analyst (M/F/X) for the Digital & Data Analytics department.

As a Data Analyst (DA), your job is to clear the "So what?" question of data. To do this, a DA speaks multiple languages: business, data and tech. Alignment of these three elements is required to ensure that data projects deliver real, timely and people-centric benefits. Are you ready to make this happen?

Your flight instructions:

  • What's your impact? As a Data Analyst at Brussels Airport, you will advise our business and community stakeholders on how data products add value to their organisation and help them develop these data products. This means working out data strategies, researching use cases with stakeholders, assessing and implementing the responsible side of data as well as delivering complex data products together with our squads of data engineers and data scientists. Data Analysts do their work by fulfilling different roles in projects, such as strategic data advisor, data project/product manager, data ethicist and data evangelist.

Requirements

Your passport:
  • Masters degree in business and/or tech
  • At least 5 years' experience as a data analyst with data-driven projects.
  • You have strong business and data analysis skills
  • You are used to working in an agile environment
  • Your technical skills are:
    • Data wrangling
    • Good knowledge of SQL
    • Visualisation skills (preferably knowledge of Tableau)
  • Team player with strong communication and storytelling skills
  • Business-savvy and strong stakeholder management
  • A strong network within the data community is a plus
  • Knowledge of the aviation or transport sector is an asset
  • You have a good command of Dutch or French. You have a good passive knowledge of the second national language and speak English fluently
