Senior Project Manager

Job description

As project coordinator, you are responsible for leading the modernisation process around MAGDA connections

As an expert project coordinator, you are responsible for both the optimisation of business processes and the alignment of the technical context in the existing connection process of MAGDA services. You lead the various aspects involved in this, ranging from solution architecture to legal requirements.

Desired regime

  • 3 days per week initially for 60 days with option to extend

Main responsibilities

  • You analyse the needs, requirements and expectations of the various stakeholders/interested parties with regard to the project objectives; you look for compromises in the event of conflicting interests.
  • You set up a project organisation and you ensure a solid project approach and project planning, you make adjustments in the course of the project
  • You align the planning and organisation with other projects where there are dependencies and interactions
  • You monitor the scope of the project and monitor the quality and deadlines of the project results
  • You closely monitor the available and spent budget, you update and justify budget estimates

Tasks of the project coordinator

  • Analysing needs, setting up domain, building model classroom, change management, training, ambassadorship for various sub-actions within the agencies.

Additional info
To the extent possible, the external employee works from his/her own laptop with virtual access to the environments of Information Flanders.

Requirements

  • Demonstrable knowledge/experience in leading projects in the domain of REST APIs - Medior ( 3.00 years ) - Must have
  • Demonstrable knowledge/experience in autonomous, proactive and pragmatic approach - Medior ( 3.00 years ) - Must have
  • Demonstrable knowledge/experience of leading project teams. - Medior ( 3.00 years ) - Must have
  • Demonstrable knowledge/experience with Agile approach and mindset - Medior ( 3.00 years ) - Must have
  • Demonstrable knowledge/experience with the technical side of ICT projects - Medior ( 3.00 years ) - Must have
  • Experience in government - Nice to have
  • Demonstrable experience in technical environments in which the projects are situated. - Must have
  • Higher education (Master or Bachelor) with technical/engineering background or equivalent through experience. - Must have
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in infrastructure or development projects - Senior ( 10.00 years ) - Must have
  • Language requirement: Dutch-speaking at European CEFR level C2 - Must have
  • Of which at least 5 years of experience in leading and supervising projects with total budgets of minimum EUR 1000 K. -Senior ( 5.00 years ) - Must have
  • Very good knowledge of the terminology, organisation, roles and processes of the PM methodology (e.g. Prince-2,PMI, PMBOK, ...), preferably demonstrated by certification. Able to transfer relevant expert knowledge - Must have
  • Teamwork, stakeholder management, social - Senior ( 5,00 years ) -Nice to have
  • Capacity to oversee multiple individual projects, and to direct and optimise the substantive links between them - Nice to have
  • Communication and customer-oriented, preferably through demonstrable preparation/training. - Nice to have
  • Knowledge of ITIL. - Nice to have
  • Knowledge of MS Project, MS Office (such as PowerPoint, Excel, etc.). - Nice to have
  • Be able to use project management techniques and tools (risk management, issue management, ...) - Nice to have
