Security Expert CISO

De Watergroep's ICT landscape consists of a combination of on premise solutions and cloud solutions. Besides a number of business packages, the main technologies present are Windows, MS SQL and Azure.

For the implementation of the NIS guideline and the planned implementation of ISO 27001 within the industrial domain, De Watergroep is looking for a senior security consultant with the following tasks:
- Executing and expanding checks and tests regarding existing security policies
- Development of a policy and technical solution for security auditing and logging
- Developing a vision with regard to Cloud security
- Drafting/updating security policies
- Vulnerability management

De Watergroep is the largest drinking water company in Flanders. We supply drinking water to over 3 million customers in 180 Flemish municipalities. As an integrated water company, we are also active as sewerage manager and realise (at home and abroad) customised industrial water projects for companies.
You will join the ICT department and will report to the head of the ICT department.

- Higher education (Master or Bachelor) with technical/engineering or business background.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in the role of CISO architect.
- Minimum 8 years' experience as a team member in security projects.
- Minimum 8 years' experience in architectural conceptual proficiency.
- Demonstrable knowledge/experience of Agile approach and mindset.
- Demonstrable knowledge/experience of handling data modelling and development methodologies.
- Demonstrable knowledge/experience of setting up and implementing architectural strategies.
- Demonstrable knowledge/experience as a respectful team player in a multidisciplinary team, no-nonsense approach, you are transparent about the results achieved.
- Demonstrable knowledge/experience of strong analytical and synthetic abilities; strong ability to abstract.
- Demonstrable knowledge/experience of autonomous, proactive and pragmatic approach.
- Demonstrable knowledge/experience in delivering quality output, with an eye for detail but not losing sight of the overall project goal.
- A strong technical vision, but also the necessary social skills to bring this vision to life in the teams.
- Demonstrable knowledge/experience of good communication and motivation skills.
- Demonstrated knowledge/experience of capturing nuances and sensitivities, constructively searching for synergies.
- Language requirement: Dutch-speaking at European CEFR level C2.
