Context

Within Aquafin, we are working on a major digital change project. One of the ongoing programmes is Business Systems where, together with an implementation partner, we will implement SAP (S/4 Hana, Successfactors, Field Service Management) for Finance, Procurement, HR, Sales, Project Management and Operations. On the one hand, part of the existing AS400 environment will be phased out; on the other, new functionalities will also be offered to our employees. After an extensive blueprint phase, we are now fully building the outlined solution. For this implementation phase, we are looking for a Programme Solution Architect who can support Aquafin in working out and following up the overall solution, focusing on the various integrations that need to be set up and the application changes that need to be implemented within Aquafin.

Tasks

• Working out and monitoring the solution architecture (functional, application, data) of the total solution within the programme with focus on the application landscape under Aquafin's responsibility and the interfaces with the applications outside the programme. This includes both impacted as-is and to-be solutions.
• Monitoring content dependencies.
• Connecting business and IT perspective , with an eye for supportability and feasibility.
• Building the bridge between the Aquafin legacy application platform and the new ERP platform to ensure that the architectural design defined for Aquafin is aligned with the overall Aquafin architecture.
• Follow up and update roadmap and roadmap scenarios where necessary, including ensuring a stable application & transition landscape during the transformation on a release-by-release basis.

  • the various architecture roles: Aquafin Enterprise Architects, Aquafin Technical Architects and Solution Architect of the implementation partner
  • the Product Owners of the various Product Teams
  • the Transversal Leads of the Transversal Teams (Data Migration, Reporting, Development, Infrastructure, Integration)
  • Programme Management

Experience/skills

• Proven experience as a Solution Architect for large change initiatives
• Broad area of knowledge and broad employability: business -, process - , application - , data -, integration perspective
• Independence, proactivity and flexibility are a must
• Very good communication skills, attuned to different types of target groups and interlocutors
• Analytical attitude
• SAP experience is a big plus
• Dutch-speaking
• Knowledge of Archimate
