Job description

BMW Financial Services has an application landscape to manage the complete lifecycle from offer to contract closure for several financial products (leasings, financial renting, etc).
Our local IT department provides service/systems/applications for BMW Financial Services and supports projects that are initiated and potentially impact those systems.

Although we are looking for a project manager, we really are looking for an enthusiastic colleague that fits in our team and is very eager to learn, picks up things that land on the table of the team and objectively decides with the team lead if it is priority to deal with it now or maybe later. In addition we would like to call our colleague also an impediment remover, someone who isn't afraid to roll up the sleeves and dig deep when an issue occurs. That's our team spirit as well, get things done and do it in a qualitative way always looking for ways to improve ourselves, our teamwork and our collaboration with our business colleagues. A real can do mentality!

Responsibilities
- Assumes responsibility for consistent and complete IT solutions in the project. This includes the functionally and technically correct integration of new and modified IT solutions into the existing IT landscape.
- Supports in the technical conceptual design (know-how, technical integration, process standardization, standard-related application of IT products) and in the rollout of technical processes (e.g. methodology, training system).
- Planning and execution of all IT tasks in the project, planning of IT work packages and milestones
- Steer and align the conceptual IT design
- Coordination of all implementation activities
- Support of function test, automated data migration
- Communication in the IT line organisation
- Provision of the technical IT documentation
- Organization of system infrastructure
- Reports to the IT Lead and presents his / her deliverables in the reviews.

Key accountabilities
- Steers, plans, verifies and controls assigned IT projects and system releases, ensuring regular informs the NFSC IT Team lead
- Plans and manages implementation of assigned IT System releases and assigned IT projects
- Leads IT analysis based on requirements definition, including analysis of business requirements and proposal of appropriate IT solutions
- Create IT test strategies, including planning of test phases of assigned IT projects and IT system releases
- Influence and manage external service providers to ensure delivery of high quality IT services.

- Guarantee operational excellence
- Function is responsible for the delivery of assigned Financial Services projects in the Belgium & Luxembourg market from IT perspective with significant changes in processes and systems
- Implementation of business requests whilst adhering to group IT strategy and target roadmap.
- Support business development through implementation of approved system changes to agreed time and budget
- Balance the expectation of IT operations stability with business demand for change and improvement.

Requirements

General Requirements
- IT Professional with 5 years of experience in a similar role
- Experience in IT analysis and project management
- Strong networking skills and able to steer stakeholders and external providers
- Experience of/in IT Project Management, including structured methodologies, based on both waterfall and agile methodology (Kanban, Scrum)
- Knowledge in the automotive financial services sector including understanding of the business processes (incl. Retail/Commercial)
- Solid knowledge in key technologies (decision making capabilities, best practice for the financial services sector/market).
- NL and EN language is a must have
