IT Security Engineer

For a project until the end of July (with option on extension) at our client Aquafin in Aartselaar, we are looking for an IT Security Engineer.

About the job
The Security Engineer is a general, technical role involved in the implementation and maintenance of controls used to manage risk. For this role, we are looking for someone who specialises in various IT and/or OT disciplines, such as IAM, server management, workstation management, network management, etc.
The Security Engineer will have the following responsibilities:
- Ensuring that security controls are in place and documented;
- Managing day-to-day maintenance of controls, including:
- Access controls (user account lifecycle);
- Managing the security of Active Directory
- Managing the security of Entra ID
- Managing the security of Azure Cloud infrastructure
- Managing the security of email and Teams communications
- Testing and implementing security patches;
- Tracking vulnerabilities
- Security configuration e.g. IDS, IPS, firewalls, DLP;
- Hardening of EndPoints
- System and network hardening;
- Management of anti-malware software (EDR) on EndPoints and servers
- Monitoring device compliance
- Monitoring the Microsoft Secure Score
- Monitoring the asset inventory
- Monitoring lifecycle management of (operating) systems and applications
- Follow-up of security policy documents
- Monitoring security processes and procedures
- Checking security logs and taking any necessary actions
- Identify and manage security incidents according to a process.
